On December 4, 2025, the Arbour Foundation celebrated 20 years of commitment in support of the next generation. This landmark evening brought together scholarship recipients, partners from the business community and higher education, as well as valued allies of the Foundation.

More than a celebration, the event was a moment of reflection and renewal. It reaffirmed our commitment to investing in human potential, expanding our impact, and carrying forward Pierre Arbour’s philanthropic legacy.

Founded in 2005 by Mr. Pierre Arbour, the Foundation has, from the outset, been dedicated to a clear mission: supporting students and talent in their pursuit of achieving their ambitions, and contributing to the active development of Quebec’s economy.

Twenty years later, the Arbour Foundation has supported more than 600 scholarship recipients, awarded more than $9 million in scholarships, and built a strong network of mentors and business and university partners. Together, we form a united community guided by kindness, attentive listening, and respect for each person’s dignity.

To mark this anniversary, Dr. Joanne Liu, physician and former president of Doctors Without Borders, delivered a powerful testimony, filled with insight and humanity, which deeply resonated with all those present.

Twenty years of supporting the future. And now, let us imagine the next twenty.
